CROW announces presenting sponsor for Taste of the Islands
The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife recently welcomed Bank of the Islands/Edison National Bank as the returning presenting sponsor for the 38th Taste of the Islands for its 10th year.
“We are extremely appreciative of Bank of the Islands/Edison National Bank’s continuing support of CROW and our work saving local wildlife,” CROW Executive Director Alison Charney Hussey said. “A decade of support as the presenting sponsor for our event exemplifies their commitment to help the community and the environment.”
Taste of the Islands will be held on Nov. 10 from noon to 5 p.m at the Sanibel Community Park. The event features live music and showcases the islands’ vibrant and diverse restaurant community. Returning this year, event attendees can get a “taste” of CROW and meet the Animal Ambassadors in The Community House.
Admission is $7 and ages 11 and under are free.
Guests purchase CROW Bucks to get their “tastes” from participating restaurants. They are available for purchase at the event and in advance on CROW’s website with pick up at the Will Call booth.
Item prices range from one to six CROW Bucks.
Proceeds from the event ensures CROW’s continued success providing the highest quality care and treatment of injured, ill and orphaned wildlife through state-of-the-art veterinary care. Funds also support public educational exhibits at the Visitor Education Center.
