Christopher M “Chris” Drouhard
Christopher M. “Chris” Drouhard, beloved father of Alexandra Josephine Drouhard of Cape Coral, Florida and Lawrence Mack Drouhard, of Oberlin, Ohio and grandfather of London Atticus Drouhard, passed away at his home in Punta Gorda, Florida on July 10, 2019. He was 67 years old.
Chris was born December 19, 1951, in Loudonville, Ohio where he spent his early years. After graduating from the University of Florida Business School, Tallahassee, Chris returned to his hometown and opened and operated a restaurant, The Brass Plate, in the late 1970’s-80’s. He was later employed with Sachs Management, Dayton Ohio. He moved to Vermilion Ohio in 1993 to become Vice-President of Operations for Brighton Corporation, a hospitality company with properties along the “North Coast.” Chris loved boating and fishing, and upon his retirement, Chris moved to Sanibel, Florida.
Chris was the son of the late Lawrence and Joan Rohr Drouhard, and brother of the late Anthony “Tony” Drouhard. In addition to his children and grandchild, he is survived by his sisters, Joie Drouhard Gregor and Rebecca Drouhard.
