F.I.S.H. to co-host Home Health Networking Meeting
F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva and Jayme Hodges, director of Behavioral Health for the Lee Health System, will host a Home Health Networking Meeting on June 6 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades and Okeechobee Counties, at 7273 Concourse Drive, Fort Myers.
A licensed clinical social worker, Hodges will speak about occupational safety and behavioral health issues, making it a perfect learning opportunity for home health agencies, home health workers, private duty nurses, certified nursing assistants, companions and more.
“Professionals who work in the home health industry will have the opportunity to complete the F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva home health provider application to be vetted and included in our resource list as a provider for our community,” F.I.S.H. Program Director Kathy Y. Monroe said. “This meeting is a wonderful opportunity to gather information pertinent to the industry and to network with healthcare industry professionals and share experiences about the valuable work they provide in our community every day.”
Professional home health workers, nurses, nurse assistants and CNAs, companions, home health agency workers and more who are willing to serve Sanibel and Captiva residents are invited to attend.
A continental breakfast will be provided.
RSVPs are requested by June 3.
