SCCF headed to the theater for ‘Native Gardens’

By Staff | Apr 24, 2019

Join the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation for a trip to the Florida Repertory Theatre.

“Native Gardens,” the theater’s new production by Karen Zacarias, is a comedy that explores the relationships between neighbors, their yards and the ideological differences of generations touches on many subjects that will be familiar to many SCCF members and Southwest Florida residents.

The performance is set for April 28 at 2 p.m.

In addition to the show, the theatre will present a “talk-back” – an intimate discussion with members of the cast, crew and staff – directly afterward. Bring your questions, and get an inside glimpse into the making of the show. The talk-back is included with the price of the ticket.

“Native Gardens” runs 90 minutes with no intermission.

Participants may also join the group for a prix fixe lunch prior to the performance at the Twisted Vine Bistro, within a short walk of the theatre. The meal includes lunch, a glass of wine, a non-alcoholic beverage, taxes and gratuities. Lunch begins at noon and may be added to ticket selection at checkout.

Tickets are $48 and can be purchased through Eventbrite at www.eventbrite.com.
