Ocean Tribe Paddlers to explore Bowman’s mangroves
Ocean Tribe Paddlers, which is affiliated with the Sanibel Sea School, hosts excursions for paddling enthusiasts to enjoy a group paddle, share tips and ideas, and meet new friends to paddle with.
The next one will be held today, April 17, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Paddlers will explore the Bowman’s Beach mangrove canals. Participants can look expect beautiful views of Sanibel’s unique “walking trees,” wildlife watching opportunities, and a chance to learn a bit about the local flora and fauna.
Those interested in taking part can bring their own paddling craft or borrow one from Ocean Tribe Paddlers. To reserve a loaner, email firstname.lastname@example.org in advance.
Meet at 2:45 p.m. at the kayak launch in the beach parking lot, at 1700 Bowmans Beach Road, Sanibel.
