BIG ARTS recently hosted two programs as part of its The Forum series at Schein Hall. On March 3, guest speaker Michele Flournoy spoke on the “Challenges to U.S. Leadership.” She is the former Undersecretary of Defense and served as a principal advisor to Robert Gates and Leon Panetta from 2009-2012. She is a co-founder and managing partner of WestExec Advisors and a former co-founder and chief executive officer of the Center for a New American Security. On March 6, guest speaker Peter Wallison talked about “The Administrative State and the U.S. Economy.” He holds the Arthur F. Burns chair in financial policy studies and is co-director of AEI’s program on financial policy studies. Wallison has held a number of government positions. For more information, visit bigarts.org.
