Community Prayer Breakfast tickets available
Southwest Florida residents are invited to attend the annual Community Prayer Breakfast in observance of the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 2, at City of Palms Park, 2201 Edison Ave. in Fort Myers.
The national theme for the 2019 National Day of Prayer is “Love One Another.”
The breakfast buffet will begin at 6:05 a.m. and will be followed by the program at 7 a.m., emceed by City of Fort Myers Mayor Randy Henderson. This year’s keynote speaker, Michael Hingson, will inspire attendees with his story of surviving the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center with the help of his guide dog, Roselle.
