Northwest Cape Coral Trash Bash set for April 13
Northwest Cape Coral boaters, friends, neighbors, and students are invited to come by water or land to participate in the 23rd annual Northwest Cape Coral Trash Bash Saturday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Burnt Store Road Boat Ramp, at 230 Burnt Store Road, S. Volunteers team up with city code compliance and police departments to clean up trash from neighborhoods, roadways, empty properties, and canals in conjunction with “Keep Lee County Beautiful” events.
Participants are urged to wear protective clothing, closed shoes and sun screen and stop by the boat ramp to check in and pick up free trash bags, gloves, T-shirts, and water at 8:30 a.m. before fanning out to collect unsightly neighborhood trash. Volunteers are invited to return to the boat ramp shelter at noon to enjoy pizza.
