Lee County Band to present ‘April in Paradise’

The Lee County Community Band will present “April in Paradise” – its last concert of season – on April 7 at 3 p.m. at Cape Coral High School, at 2300 Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral.

Under the baton of Richard Bradstreet, the band will performs Dixieland, lively marches, patriotic favorites, Broadway hits and more. Selections will include “Satchmo!,” a tribute to Louis Armstrong; Big Band Polka; and the Magic of Andrew Lloyd Webber, including themes from “Superstar,” “Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina” and “Phantom of the Opera.”

Admission is free, though donations are accepted.

The Lee County Band has been entertaining Southwest Florida audiences since 1885. The 60-member band is comprised of professional and amateur musicians from Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties.
