Sanibel Community Church’s LOGOS children recently celebrated Teacher’s Appreciation Night. The students were given invitations to hand out to their teachers to a special dinner honoring them. The family-style meal included chicken cordon bleu, twice-baked potatoes and strawberry parfaits. Each class thanked their teacher and presented him or her with a gift basket loaded with goodies for the classroom and tokens of appreciation to enjoy. The night finished with all of the children singing a special song dedicated to their teachers. Open to pre-kindergarteners to fifth-graders, LOGOS meets on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 6:45 p.m. at the church, at 1740 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
