Lee Sheriff’s Office offers mobile app
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office now has a mobile application for smartphones.
“Staying connected and keeping the residents of Lee County informed is a key component in the success of our operation,” the agency said in a release announcing the new service Wednesday. “Our new app features access to the popular arrest search function, Crime Stoppers, Fortify FL, traffic advisories and so much more!
“In addition to all those key features, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office mobile app also provides a real-time feed of our social media. The user now has the most trusted source of accurate and reliable information pertaining to press releases, missing persons and sexual offender relocations in the palm of their hands.”
The free app is available for download on Apple and Android devices in their respective application stores; search “Lee County Sheriff, FL”.
“We are laser focused on keeping the residents of Lee County safe,” said Sheriff Carmine Marceno in the prepared statement. “Utilizing developing technology, such as our social media platforms and this new smartphone app, is absolutely necessary to accomplishing that goal.”
