Pfeifer Realty Group launched its Community Support Campaign with a $1,000 contribution to the “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society-Friends of the Refuge to help fund the Woodring 100th Anniversary Exhibition. Unveiled to the public on Jan. 23 inside the Visitor & Education Center, it celebrates 100 years of Woodring Point history through the lens of the late iconic photographer Charlie McCullough, as well as artifacts from the Sanibel Historical Museum and Village and Woodring Homestead. The refuge’s acquisition of the Woodring estate in 2013 helps to preserve a rare example of a true “Florida Cracker” style homestead. The exhibit will be on display until March 25.
