The Sanibel Historical Museum and Village announced that Sanibel Catering by Bailey’s will be a gold sponsor and Doc Ford’s Rum Bar and Grille and The Grog Shop will be silver sponsors for the annual gala fundraiser, “An Evening on the Old Algiers,” on Feb. 19 from 6 to 10 p.m. at The Community House on Sanibel. It will feature a buffet dinner and dancing, as well as opportunities to learn about the history of the Algiers river boat that once sat on the beaches of Sanibel.
