SanCap Community Bank branch expansion

Sanibel Captiva Community Bank celebrates its 16th anniversary doing business in Southwest Florida in 2019, marked by continued expansion and an unwavering commitment to the community.

To commemorate the anniversary, the bank has announced the purchase of a 12,000-square-foot building at 9311 College Parkway, Fort Myers, formerly First American Bank. Construction will be underway soon and the building is expected to open first quarter of 2020.

With rapid growth in recent years, the bank has outgrown its existing operations center at 7500 College Parkway, Fort Myers. The new location will be home to its operations center and eighth branch in Southwest Florida. The building will also feature two drive-through lanes, drive-up ATM, night drop and safe deposit boxes.

Since chartering on Sanibel in 2003 as a locally owned and operated community bank, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank has expanded throughout Lee County – with five locations added in the past three years.
