Kirschner joins Pfeifer Realty Group
Pfeifer Realty Group recently welcomed Wendy Kirschner to its real estate team.
She has a Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree from Arizona State University. After graduation, she worked for a sports marketing firm, then began teaching high school. Kirschner later built her own small business, which she did for 20 years as a private academic tutor.
She and her family moved to Florida in 2009 from the Washington, D.C., area and more recently to Southwest Florida. Having bought and sold several houses in the mid-Atlantic area, along with her fascination of the beauty of Southwest Florida, the Sanibel resident easily transitioned into selling real estate.
The Pfeifer Realty Group is at 1630 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
Law enforcement leaders graduate
The Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute recently announced the graduation of 37 first-line supervisors from the Florida Leadership Academy.
The graduates serve in leadership roles representing 29 criminal justice agencies throughout the state.
Among the graduates of the 43rd Florida Leadership Academy are Jarred Ciccone and Ken Sutton, both with the Sanibel Police Department
The graduates met for four week-long sessions at the St. Johns River State College in St. Augustine. They learned skills necessary to support the needs of their agencies and their communities as they prepare for future challenges.
The goal of the Florida Leadership Academy is to prepare first-line supervisors in criminal justice organizations to exemplify the character and integrity expected of criminal justice professionals and to examine the various components necessary to being an efficient leader.
