The Center 4 Life’s Island Seniors raised more than $8,000 at the annual Trash & Treasures Sale in November. The funding will be used to underwrite events, purchase kayaking equipment and assist in maintaining quality programs at the center. Organizers thanked the volunteers who helped to advertise, price items, work the event and assist with clean up, as well as everyone who donated items to sell.
