Sanibel Recreation Center offers personal training sessions

The Sanibel Recreation Center is now registering personal training sessions with one of its experienced and certified trainers on Tuesdays between 2 and 7 p.m. and Saturdays between 1 and 4 p.m.

Cost for a one-hour session is $80 for members and $106 for non-members.

Clients can choose from two trainers for their session.

Kate Bush has been certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine since 2003. Her passion is training older individuals to continue doing what they love for as long as possible without injury. Bush helps her clients achieve this by focusing on posture, strength and flexibility using a number of tools, including body weight, TRX suspension trainer, kettle bells and ViPR.

Her additional certifications include: TRX Suspension Training Course, TRX Rip Training Course, Precision Nutrition Level I and The BioMechanics Method Corrective Exercise Specialist Course.

Bush will be available on Tuesdays.

Ginger Brien has been certified through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America since 1990. Her goal is to inspire one person at a time to find enjoyment in exercise. Brien utilizes a variety of equipment and training methods to accomplish this with her clients.

Additional certifications include: TurboKick, Les Mills Bodypump, Bodyflow and CX WorX, PEAK Pilates, Fittour, Silver Sneakers, TABATA Bootcamp, Piloxing and Schwinn Cycling.

Brien will be available on Saturdays.
