Sanibel Captiva Island Vacation Rentals recently celebrated its launch with a gold ribbon cutting on Nov. 14, hosted with the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce.

The company was born from a merger of ‘Tween Waters Island Vacation Rentals and RE/MAX of the Islands Vacation Rentals. It represents over 150 properties, including luxury, boutique rental homes, cottages and condos on both islands, and it offers a concierge program for owners and renter’s rewards for guests.

“We felt a fresh name with an upscale visual presentation that reflects both islands and companies was an important step in the process,” General Manager Doug Babcock said. “We look forward to making the vacation rental experience the best it has ever been in every way.”

The company is part of Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts.

“We congratulate Sanibel Captiva Island Vacation Rentals on its successful merger,” chamber President John Lai said. “Doug (Babcock) and his team are a wonderful group of professionals who are friendly and care about their clients.”
