F.I.S.H. to host annual Open House for community
F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva will host its annual Open House for the public on Nov. 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the F.I.S.H. Walk-In Center, at 2430 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
Sponsored by Inky and Jack Meng, it will showcase the work of F.I.S.H., whose mission is to lend a helping hand to those who live, work or visit the islands, while enriching the lives of those on Sanibel and Captiva through food programs, island-based workshops, social services and helping hands.
“We want the community to discover how F.I.S.H. positively impacts our community and assists our neighbors,” President Maggi Feiner said. “Feel free to invite friends and neighbors to learn how we all are making a difference in our community.”
Light hors d’oeuvres with wine pairings will be offered, provided by the Sanibel Catering Company.
Handicap-only parking is offered on site, with additional parking at Bailey’s General Store.
“We are so proud of the programs and services we are able to offer to our residents, workers and visitors,” F.I.S.H. Board Chair Nicole McHale said. “Please join us for our Open House, where F.I.S.H. board members will be available to give you a tour of our agency. You will also have an opportunity to meet F.I.S.H. staff and volunteers, who are the real heroes of our organization.”
