The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation announced that Cip’s Place is among the food tasting partners for the 2018 Wines in the Wild on Nov. 9. The others include Catering by Leslie Adams, Sweet Melissa’s Cafe, Il Cielo, Sanibel Catering Company and Malia. Wines in the Wild will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Bailey Homestead Preserve on Sanibel. Foods will be paired at each station with specially selected complementary wines. It will end with a dessert surprise, music from the Danny Morgan Trio and a live auction. As of today, tickets for the event are sold out; however, names can be placed on a waiting list by contacting Linda Uhler at 239-472-3817. Organizers noted that those unable to attend are welcome to place bids in advance for the auction.
