By Staff | Jul 18, 2018

Community Cooperative has announced the 13th annual Becoming Cosmopolitan fundraiser to be held Thursday, Oct. 4, at 6 p.m. This year’s event will feature the theme, Fire & Ice and will, for the first time, ever be held in the historic Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall in Fort Myers.

“We are thrilled to be bringing Becoming Cosmopolitan to the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, truly one of the most creative and inspired locations in Fort Myers with its decades of theater and music history.” said Tracey Galloway, CEO of Community Cooperative. “With savory cuisine, icy cool cocktails, boutique shopping and fiery entertainment, all in support of a great cause, and you’ve got what Becoming Cosmopolitan is all about.

The evening features shopping with local boutique vendors, gourmet cuisine and cocktails, sinfully delicious desserts, a silent and live auction, exciting raffles, great music and an after party all in celebration of the cosmopolitan lifestyle in Southwest Florida. More than 300 guests attended last Becoming Cosmopolitan event and all the proceeds support women and children’s programing at Community Cooperative.

Sponsorships are available and range from $1,500 to $10,000. Donations for the event’s silent and live auctions, and Key To The Closet raffle are also being accepted. Tickets will go on sale in mid-August. For more information contact Stefanie Edwards 239-461-2802, or Stefanie@CommunityCooperative.com.
