Hundreds of guests visited the Sanibel Historical Museum and Village on June 16 to take advantage of the Free Admission Day.

“We welcomed approximately 275 adults and 25 children,” Executive Director Emilie Alfino said. “Probably more people came, as it isn’t easy to keep track of numbers with the crowd.”

“We’re delighted that so many people were able to enjoy the museum and see what the village has to offer,” she added. “We hope they’ll come again and bring family and friends.”

The Sanibel Historical Museum and Village is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday.

Free guided tours are at 10:30 a.m., based upon docent availability.
