SCC recognizes graduating eighth-graders in H20 Youth Group

As the school year closed, the Sanibel Community Church congratulated its eighth-grade graduates who attended the H20 Youth Group and Sunday School over the past year.

The list included: Will Byers, Matt Ciccone, Ben Froelich, Nathan Haas, Luke Jankauskas, Amber LaBorde, Will Lejeune, Mason Macalka, Megan Markle, Amy Martinez, Eric McCrann, Daniela Monteeillo, Brent Patton-Roark, Ella Stroud, Abby Sullivan, Case Vandevelde, Livia vonWowern, Caroline Waite and Anna Wells.

Each student received a devotional called “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young, and a gift card from the church at the celebration. The youth have led, supported and became role models in various activities including: Turkey Bowl ’17, Camp 737, Super Bowl Bash, Nerf Nights, Renew the City in Miami, 30 Hour Famine and the Missionary of Oz dinner theater.

H2O Student Ministries is a youth program for sixth- through 12th-graders that meets on Wednesdays from 5 to 7 p.m. for middle-schoolers and from 6 to 8 p.m. for high-schoolers, as well as on Sundays from 11 a.m. to noon at Sanibel Community Church, at 1740 Periwinkle Way.

All students are welcome.
