The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation will host a walk and talk in the butterfly garden at the Bailey Homestead Preserve on Sanibel on June 13 at 10 a.m. See what butterflies are flying and spot the plants they lay their eggs on; caterpillars will be spotted. Learn to build a butterfly garden with plants from the SCCF’s Native Landscape and Garden Center. Cost is $10, which includes a laminated butterfly guide. Reservations required.
