By Staff | May 4, 2018

A Cape Coral man is facing child pornography charges after police say they found obscene images on his computer.

Mark Ingraham, 40, of 125 SE 32nd Street in Cape Coral has been charged with possession of obscene material (depictions of sexual performance by a child) as well as transmission of child pornography by electronic device, according to the Cape Coral Police Department.

He was arrested early Thursday morning after Cape Coral Police, in conjunction with the FBI Exploited Children Task Force tracked him and obtained a search warrant for his home and computer, according to the CCPD’s website.

A detective with the CCPD’s Major Crimes Unit who serves as a member of the Task Force served the search warrant at Ingraham’s home with the assistance of the FBI. The search confirmed the presence of child pornography on Ingraham’s computer, officials said.

Ingraham was transported to Lee County Jail where he remained in custody Friday afternoon.

Bond has been set at $100,000.
