All aboard for a night of drinks, dancing and fun!

The South Cape Hospitality and Entertainment Associations is gearing up for the second annual South Cape Craft Beer Trolley Event Saturday, April 28, from 7-11 p.m..

This pub crawl will include 10 stops to some of the Cape’s best eateries and bars. Premiere craft beer and appetizer samples will be available for “crawl-ees” at each location.

Executive Director of SCHEA, Nicole Williams is excited for the return of the event.

“We’ve been selling tickets quickly and can’t wait to see the turn out this year after a great response the first time around.”

Guests are asked to check in between 6-7:30 p.m. in front of Big John’s Plaza or Dixie Roadhouse.

Late check in will be available until 10 p.m. in front of Dixie Roadhouse.

Local businesses and establishments apply to be part of the crawl and get to display their talents to the community, said Williams.

Tickets will include stops to these locations in Cape Coral’s Entertainment District: BackStreets Sports Bar, Tiki Hut, Monkey Bar, Rockade, Dixie Roadhouse, Remixx Lounge, Rack’em Spirits & Times, Ralph’s Place, Big Blue Brewing and Big Storm Brewing Co..

Some of the craft beers along the way will include Keybilly Island Ale, High 5 IPA, Funky Buddha Pineapple Peach and Palm Bender Gulf Coast IPA.

Delicious appetizers will feature coconut shrimp, African jungle bread, beer mac n’ cheese and chorizo bacon.

A full list of beer and appetizers, and at which location they are served, is listed on the SCHEA website.

Tickets are $20 until Friday night, and $25 for day of purchases.

Designated driver tickets are also available for $15, only attainable at BackStreets Sports Bar.

Tickets also includes a pretzel necklace (yes, a necklace with actual pretzels on it), wristband to board the trolleys, a passport of locations, access to the official photo booth in the lobby of the Dolphin Key Resort (another stop along the way) and of course your craft beer and appetizer sample.

Patrons can spend as much time at one location as they please, but will be limited to the one free sample drink and appetizer (you may purchase whatever else you’d like).

Trolleys will run on a continuous cycle among all of the locations throughout the night.

Lots of prizes will be available along the way, including trivia on the trolleys, a photo booth contest and the grand prize of a craft beer themed gift basket.

To enter the photo booth contest, have your picture taken at the official photo booth, located in the lobby of Dolphin Key Resort. Photos will be uploaded to Facebook and the public will vote. The SCHEA board will make final determination of the winner. To win the grand prize, have your passport (provided at check-in) stamped at all locations (no purchase necessary) and turn it in at the end of the night, according to the SCHEA website.

There also will be live music, dancing, karaoke and more at these local establishments.

“This is a great way to connect and meet new people and experience what Cape Coral restaurants and bars have to offer,” added Williams.

Please remember to bring a valid ID at check-in.
