H2O, Sanibel Community Church’s student ministry, recently began a new curriculum for the high schoolers by financial expert Dave Ramsey entitled, “Generation Change.” The curriculum focuses on smart financial decisions and how to plan for the future. It also explores who we are in God, how to manage finances properly and even how to pay for college. The study will continue through the end of May. H20 is doing a “Questions Answered” series with the middle schoolers, answering any questions that they have about life and God. Students write out their questions each week, then pastoral staff and community members answer them in an open forum setting. Students will also learn how to write out and share their personal testimonies of how God has worked in their lives. H2O is a youth program for sixth- through 12th-graders that meets on Wednesdays from 5 to 7 p.m. for middle-schoolers and from 6 to 8 p.m. for high-schoolers, as well as on Sundays from 11 a.m. to noon at Sanibel Community Church, at 1740 Periwinkle Way. All students are welcome. For more information, call 472-2684 or visit “http://www.sanibelchurch.com”>www.sanibelchurch.com.
