Documentary on uninhabited island premieres
The Captiva Island Historical Society debuted “BUCK KEY – Island of History and Mystery” on April 4 at the South Seas Island Resort. Produced in collaboration with Ken Sneeden & Associates, the seventh film in the “Captiva Memories” focused on the story of Buck Key. There were interviews with historians and materials, including photos, documents and postcards, from the society’s archives. The documentary also touched on what is being done to prevent development and preserve the island.
