County to host additional Hurricane Preparedness Seminars

Lee County Emergency Management has scheduled additional Hurricane Preparedness Seminars that are open to the public.

The free seminars will include information on how to prepare families and homes for hurricane season, how to use new hurricane-related technology and how Emergency Management responds to hurricanes and other disasters.

The seminars now scheduled are:

– April 26 at 6 p.m.: City of Bonita Springs Recreation Center, 26740 Pine Ave., Bonita Springs; for information or to register, call 239-992-2556

– May 9 at 2 p.m.: Large Meeting Room A at the Lakes Regional Library, 15290 Bass Road, Fort Myers

– May 9 at 6 p.m.: Gymnasium at the Veterans Park Recreation Center, 55 Homestead Road S., Lehigh Acres

– June 5 at 10 a.m.: Meeting Room AB at the Fort Myers Regional Library, 1651 Lee St., Fort Myers

– June 26 at 2 p.m.: Large Meeting Room at the Cape Coral Lee County Public Library, 921 S.W. 39th Terrace, Cape Coral
