UPDATE: Motorists may see delays on Sanibel Causeway
The Sanibel Police Department could not confirm the arrival of Vice President Mike Pence today. However, officials reported that motorists may experience delays on the Sanibel Causeway up until 5 p.m.

Vice President Mike Pence will arrive in Fort Myers today for a weeklong visit on Sanibel.
The National Business Aviation Administration issued a temporary flight restriction and notice to airmen from 1:45 to 3 p.m., which spans three nautical miles in Lee County and impacts Southwest Florida Intentional Airport. Pilots are prohibited from flying during that time.
Pence appears to be staying on the island for a week, according to the documents.
Another temporary flight restriction and notice to airmen has been issued by the National Business Aviation Administration for April 6 from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m., again spanning three nautical miles in Lee County and impacting Southwest Florida Intentional Airport.
In April 2017, Pence and his wife arrived in Lee and spent some time on Sanibel. They attended a Sunday service at the Sanibel Community Church, as well as dined at the Timbers Restaurant.
