“It is our money maker for the year,” she said.

The money raised during the fundraiser is divided among the grades – kindergarten through eighth – and used for such things as new technology for the next school year.

The third annual Cape Coral Charter School Spring Carnival will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 6 on the school property, 76 Mid Cape Terrace.

Although admission is free, it is $1 per ticket, which grants attendees the ability to participate in the carnival games.

“You pay with tickets to play the games,” Melendez said.

The event will feature such activities as bounce houses, tick-tack-toe, corn hole, bottle ring toss and the high striker where individuals have to ring the bell.

The teachers will also be doing such activities as arts and crafts during the carnival as well.
