Fifty-two people, ranging in age from 1- to 85, took part in an intergenerational mission trip from March 16-19, sponsored by the Sanibel Community Church. Traveling aboard the Royal Caribbean Cruise from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas, it was the first mission for many taking part. Pete Brokopp was the trip’s missionary speaker and Dave and Tara Powers led the group in anointed worship. In addition to daily mission meetings on the boat, the group also participated in ministry while in the Bahamas. It ministered and worshipped at Chapel on the Hill. After, the team traveled to the Ranfurly Home for Children to interact with the youth. Participants were encouraged to bring along donations to provide to the home. Some of the church’s quilters handmade pillowcases as gifts.
