Hunt for pirate treasure on Sanibel
Children who visit the Sanibel Historical Museum and Village during April can participate in a pirate treasure hunt through the historical buildings, then choose a prize from the treasure chest at the Rutland House. The village is at 950 Dunlop Road, Sanibel. It is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is $10 for ages 18 and older; youth and members are free. There is no cost to visit the museum store. Docent-guided tours are at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at no extra charge, based upon docent availability.
