Audubon Society to host Saturday bird walk

The Sanibel-Captiva Audubon Society will hold a bird walk on March 17 at the Bunche Beach Preserve, at 18201 John Morris Road, Fort Myers.

Those interested in participating should meet at 8 a.m. at the beach parking lot at the end of John Morris Boulevard. There is a parking fee of $2 per hour.

Waterproof shoes are a must for walking through the tidal pools.

The walk is open to public and all levels of experience.

A $5 donation is appreciated.

The Sanibel-Captiva Audubon Society hosts a bird walk every Saturday morning at alternating locations during season. The public is always welcome to participate.
