Sanibel Uncorked back on the table as planned

By Staff | Feb 26, 2018

After reporting on Feb. 23 that the Sanibel Uncorked Food and Wine Festival was postponed, the Sanibel-Captiva Optimist Club announced today that the event is back on the table as-was.

Last week, officials said the postponement was due to insufficient event parking.

The festival is set for March 4 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Lily & Company, at 520 Tarpon Bay Road.

Sanibel Uncorked features distributors of fine wines with tasting stations to savor and compare, along with craft beers available. Wine and beer selections can be purchased at Bailey’s General Store.

In addition, a number of local exceptional chefs demonstrate methods for preparing their favorite dishes, with hors d’oeuvres arranged by Chef Karl Hamme, with Bailey’s Sanibel Catering.
