Hallo’Tween set for Oct. 28

By Staff | Oct 18, 2017

‘Tween Waters Inn Island Resort & Spa’s annual halloween party’s history dates back to the 1980s.

“It was the party you needed to do,” said John Sprecher, chief marketing officer of Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts.

The event will be held at ‘Tween Waters Inn Island Resort & Spa, 15951 Captiva Drive, Saturday, Oct. 28, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

This year, instead of holding the party underneath a large tent outside like previous years, the resort decided to size the event down by holding it in two different places on the property: the Crow’s Nest will feature country band, the Gatlins, while the patio outside of the Captiva House will have a deejay. Admission is $10 per person. Guests must be over 21 to attend.

“There are no tickets sold in advance. You can come the day of or evening of and pay your $10,” Sprecher said.

Besides music and a full bar, the resort will also be holding a costume contest. First place will receive $1,000, 2nd place $500 and 3rd place $250.

“Winners will be announced at midnight,” said Laurent Bosc, food and beverage manager at ‘Tween Waters Inn Island Resort & Spa.

Guests will also have the opportunity to win other prizes like gift cards, free hotel stays, dining credits, Jet Ski and parasailing vouchers and cabana rentals.

Dinner reservations at both the Crow’s Nest and the Captiva House may be made prior to the party.
