Community Cooperative to host Emergency Mobile Food Pantry in North Fort Myers Saturday
Community Cooperative will host an emergency mobile food pantry in North Fort Myers for families, individuals and seniors affected by Hurricane Irma on Saturday.
The emergency mobile food pantry will take place from 8-10 a.m. Sept. 16 in the parking lot of the North Fort Myers Library,at 2000 North Recreation Park Way. Non-perishable foods, and water will be available to all while supplies last.
Community Cooperative is an innovative nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization made up of social service entrepreneurs fighting to end homelessness and hunger in our community. The agency provides more than 15,000 meals each month through its Community Cafs and Meals on Wheels programs, distributed more than 500,000 pounds of groceries through its Mobile Food Pantries, and served 6,500 individuals and families with homeless and comprehensive case management services through its Social & Education Resource Centers.
