Students ride free on LeeTran

By Staff | May 26, 2016

LeeTran is kicking off summer with its inaugural Summer Bus Bash by inviting students age 22 and younger to ride the bus for free June 13-17.

During the first ever Summer Bus Bash, students will be allowed on the bus without a LeeTran Student ID and at no charge. As a part of the summer celebration, the LeeTran team will also be hosting tables at different locations around the county. Student IDs typically are available only at the Rosa Parks Transportation Center, but now LeeTran is coming to you. By visiting a Summer Bus Bash table, students can not only register, but also have their picture taken to receive their own LeeTran Student ID, which can be used throughout the year for discounted rates on LeeTran. Information on routes and how to ride the bus also will be provided as well as LeeTran goodies and treats.

Times and locations of community events are:

2-6 p.m. Monday, June 13, Cape Coral Transfer Center, 820 SE 47th Terrace, Cape Cora

3-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, Bonita Springs Public Library, 26876 Pine Ave., Bonita Springs
