By Staff | Apr 29, 2016

On April 26, 2016, the Cape Coral Police Department responded to a past-occurred burglary located at 151 NE Pine Island Road, Cape Coral

According to a report from the CCPD, detectives made contact with the victims, who stated that when they arrived at the church they noticed that the front door was unlocked. The victims stated the door was locked the night before. When the victims walked around the church, they noticed a broken window.

When officers arrived on scene, they found three broken windows. One appeared to be completely broken and looked to be the window through which the unknown suspect made entry into the church, the report states. Officers cleared the church, but discovered no one inside.

When the pastor of the church did a walkthrough, he noticed that a guitar had been taken. The guitar was an orange, Epiphone Les Paul electric guitar. The church estimates the value of the guitar to be around $300. Nothing else in the church appeared to be tampered with.

The church reported that the three windows had an estimated value to be around $400 to be replaced.

Detectives do not have any suspect description at this time and are asking for your help.
