Senior Companion Program seeks volunteers

The Senior Companion Program, where volunteers provide companionship and friendship to frail elderly individuals who are homebound and generally living alone. is seeking volunteers.

Seniors who volunteer receive:

Tax-free Stipend of $2.65/hr.

Mileage reimbursement of $.40/mile

Paid Holiday, Vacation, & Sick leave

To qualify, volunteers must be 55 and older, able to volunteer at least 15 hours per week

and meet financial eligibility requirements..
