Experience Lee County farms as an agritourist
Join the UF/IFAS Lee County Extension for a day of farm tours in Lee County. The tour runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17, departing from Terry Park, 3410 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers.
Participants can garner an agritourism experience as they see new trends in agriculture and meet enthusiastic urban farmers. The tour will visit four local vegetable/small fruit and mixed enterprise farms. A fresh, farm-raised lunch will be served farm-to-table style.
The cost of the tour is $60 per person. The tour is an agritourism initiative that fulfills the mission and purpose of the University of Florida IFAS Lee County Extension and Lee County Parks & Recreation.
