Happy islander says thank you

To the editor:

I am writing to commend the letters to the editor written by John Raffensperger on March 25 (Traffic Tops Islander’s Concerns) and April 1 (Sanibel’s Sacred Cows).

You should strongly consider hiring Mr. Raffensperger as a regular columnist. His writing is excellent and his views are spot-on. He speaks for many of us who are long-term residents on both islands Sanibel and Captiva.

Thank you so much for publishing his astute observations that are so clearly and succinctly written.
