Sean C. Snyder announces run for Cape Coral City Council
Sean C. Snyder, a local businessman and longtime resident, has announced his candidacy for Cape Coral City Council, District 2.
“Now is not the time to take our foot off the gas, Cape Coral is primed to be a valued destination once again,” he said in a prepared statement released Friday. “I want to be the voice of a community striving to be something more.”
Snyder’s release states his family moved to Cape Coral in 1977. He says he is “a product of Lee County schools and a third-generation business owner” with 20 years in.
He also states he is the CEO of his family’s auto body shop, Annie’s Collision Center, which “survived the economic downturn, where many businesses closed or had to be sold.
“After restructuring and pushing through,” Snyder said he “has now positioned his company to surpass all prior sales records.”
He attributes that success to hard work and determination and now wants to serve because he cares about the city and its residents.
“I was raised here, my wife and I are raising our daughters here,” he states. “I want to contribute all I can to continue Cape Coral’s positive growth and secure its financial stability for generations to come.”
