In anticipation of 2015 elections, the League of Women Voters of Sanibel is holding an annual voter registration drive. Those with recently established residency in Lee County, or who need an address, name, or party affiliation change, may take advantage of conveniently registering in Sanibel. A person must be registered at least 29 days before the city of Sanibel election to be held March 3, 2015.

Members of the League have been trained to be registrars and will have a table at the Sunday Farmer’s Market and at Bailey’s General Store. The first opportunity at the Sanibel Farmer’s Market is Jan. 4, 8 a.m. until 1 p.m., and other public opportunities are at Bailey’s General Store on Jan. 10 and Jan. 17, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
