Cape Coral Police Department partners with student group to help homeless school kids in Lee County

The Cape Coral Police Department has entered into a partnership with the 3H Exchange to aid children who are homeless in Lee County.

The 3H Exchange – High Schools Helping the Homeless – is a program committed to giving goods to homeless students and their families in need throughout the Lee County School District.

Starting this Friday, Nov. 28, and running through Dec. 14, the Cape Coral Police Department will have donation bins at the lobby of the Cape Coral Police Department Headquarters and the Chester Street Resource Center where people can drop off donations for the 3H Exchange.

The 3H Exchange is asking for donations of the following:

Canned food

Non-perishable foods

Unwrapped children’s toys
