Post Offices observe Veterans Day Monday

Post Offices will be closed and mail will not be delivered on Monday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day.

Customers will have access to postal services on Veterans Day at www.usps.com, Self-Service Kiosks in select postal lobbies and Contract Postal Units (CPUs).

A Contracted Postal Unit offers postal products and services at postal pricing. No surcharge is added. Retail services will be available at the following Contracted Postal Units in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area:

– SW Cape Coral 4706 Chiquita Blvd., Cape Coral

– Atrium Executive Center, 8695 College Pkwy., Fort Myers

– Mailboxes, Shipping & Communications 13300 S Cleveland Ave., Fort Myers

– Mailing Center Etc., 18011 S Tamiami Tr., Fort Myers

– 2 For A Dollar Cards, 13971 N. Cleveland Ave, North Fort Myers

– Kay’s Hallmark, 11600 Gladiolus Dr., Fort Myers

– Sun Harvest Citrus, 14810 Metro Pkwy., Fort Myers

– The Shell Factory, 2787 Tamiami Tr., North Fort Myers

– Alico Self Storage, 7600 Alico Rd., Fort Myers

– Bright Ideas Gift Shop, (Healthpark Hospital), 9981 S. Healthpark Dr., Fort Myers

– Bright Ideas Gift Shop, (Lee Memorial Hospital), 2776 Cleveland Ave., Fort Myers

Transportation of mail from Contract Postal Units is provided by U.S. Postal Service employees or contractors. All mail is monitored and protected by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
