The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife will feature two bands at its annual Taste of the Islands event this year. “Rocker” and “Late Night Brass” will entertain attendees and provide music for a variety of tastes to accompany the event’s array of foods to satisfy a variety of tastes.

Based in Fort Myers, “Rocker” is a guitar driven, classic and contemporary rock band that plays venues across Southwest Florida. Together since 1978, the band has opened shows for acts including Alice Cooper and Billy Squire.

“Late Night Brass” is a high-energy 11-piece, horn-driven band based in Tampa. Since 2005, they’ve been playing blues, R&B, swing, big band, disco, funk, traditional & smooth Jazz, pop-rock, rock ‘n’ roll and Latin music in venues like Tampa’s Holiday Tree Lighting celebration and headlining the Summer Jazz on the Gulf concert series in Naples.

“People at last year’s Taste event really enjoyed Rocker,” said Steve Calabro, CROW executive director. “We wanted to have them join us again this year but also feature an additional sound. We think Late Night Brass will add another dimension to the entertainment and the event itself,” he said.

The 32nd Annual Taste of the Islands takes place on Nov. 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.at The Dunes Golf and Tennis Club.
