PHOTO PROVIDED The FISH food drive at the three Royal Shell managed shopping centers on Sanibel continues until March 31.

The generous merchants of Tahitian Gardens (1975 Periwinkle Way), Olde Sanibel Shoppes (630 Tarpon Bay Road) and The Village Shops (2340 Periwinkle Way), kick off their F.I.S.H. of Sanibel Spring Food Drive. All 29 merchants from these centers are collecting food and monetary donations for FISH throughout the month of March.

Royal Shell Companies, a long term supporter of FISH, are hosting this FISH food drive for a third year. The food drive supplies the FISH food pantry with much needed food, paper products and personal hygiene products for island families and individuals.

Randy Bacik, CEO of Royal Shell said, “We have been a long-term supporter of FISH and the work they do on Sanibel and Captiva. Our food drive for FISH is part of our commitment to give back to our community. We are pleased to be part of the FISH spring food drive and the merchants and shoppers of our three shopping centers have been very supportive in hosting this drive to benefit FISH clients.”

Shoppers are encouraged to bring unopened, non-perishable food items, paper products and personal hygiene products when they shop at any of the shops at Tahitian Gardens, Olde Sanibel Shoppes or The Village Shops between now and the end of March. Food items may be placed in the FISH food drive baskets located in each store. All food and monetary donations go toward stocking the FISH rood pantry.
