Dorsey to speak on investing
Pat Dorsey, CFA, Director of Research at The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company, will speak at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 23 at The Sanctuary Golf Club on the topic of “Beyond Bonds: Income Investing in a Low-Yield World.”
Dorsey’s presentation is part of The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company’s continuing effort to keep clients and friends of the firm well-informed during today’s dynamic business climate. He will review key trends and issues affecting investors and their potential impact on an investment portfolio.
Dorsey appears regularly on Bloomberg TV, Fox TV and CNBC, is the author of two books – The Five Rules for Successful Stock Investing, and The Little Book that Builds Wealth – and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, The New York Times, and Bloomberg BusinessWeek. He holds a master’s degree in political science from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in government from Wesleyan University. He is a CFA charter holder and sought-after speaker at numerous industry events throughout the United States.
