The law firm of Phoenix File & Pagidipati PLLC announces that Charles PT Phoenix, Esq. of Sanibel, the firm’s managing attorney, has graduated from The University of Alabama School of Law with a L.L.M. degree in Taxation Law.

Phoenix attended the graduation ceremony on Aug.18 in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

“I am very thankful to have been able to continue academics while practicing law,” said Phoenix. “The University of Alabama School of Law is one of the finest schools, and it provides a unique academic environment for working lawyers.”

U.S. News & World Report ranks the school as one of the top two schools in the Southeastern Conference (along with the Law School at Vanderbilt University) and the 29th best law school overall in its list of the 2013 Best Law Schools.

Students and professionals pursue the L.L.M. to gain knowledge in a specialized field of law, for example in the area of tax law or international law. The Graduate Tax program at Alabama School of Law provides an educational opportunity to obtain an advanced degree in tax law that is both broad-based, but also in-depth.
